Digital Preservation

As the technological era progresses, the demand for digital records grows dramatically. Automated records may pose the greatest challenge to archiving the right journal in identifying, selecting, and preserving records of lasting value. Since the invention of the computer, archiving has become a concerning factor and the concept of the archive in the field of data conservation has a big impact on the mission of the record-keeping practice. International Journal of Psychosocial Rehabilitation understands end-to-end concepts of this technology and always cares for and controls archival records or the repository in which our records are stored in the form of our divergent database in the field of psychosocial and rehabilitation-related articles. We have deliberately archived some of the important research articles and findings covered by our journal. And we have taken full responsibility for bringing the journal under our archive set of journals by checking the authenticity of the source. This was possible through our way of approach to getting these archives established in our system. These are:

  • AuthenticityThe record is what it claims to be, created at the time specified, and by the person named in the document. We check for 100% authenticity.
  • ReliabilityThey accurately represent the event, though from the perspective of the person or organization creating the document.
  • IntegrityThe content is sufficient to provide a coherent picture. Regrettably, not all archives are complete.
  • UsabilityIt entails ensuring that the archive is easily accessible and in usable condition.

We use cutting-edge information technology tools to record our author’s successfully published journals and convert them into our archived list. The advantage is that the information is safe and secure. Furthermore, the storage space for information can be reduced, resulting in a more efficient way of managing information. To archive efficiently, we guide the disposal of unpublished documents in the office and manage archives that are published and highly cited in international journals. Articles on psychosocial disorders and discoveries are given particular attention. However, all articles that relate to psychosocial rehabilitation will be considered for achieving this.
