Biometric refers to a person being automatically recognized based on their physiological characteristics. Biometric poses its own problems of being once compromised are not replaceable. Through collecting the client's fingerprint and facial characteristics, biometric authentication is accomplished. The system will then check the identity of the user. Upon successful authentication, the ATM machine requests a 4-digit code from the customer which is being generated from the machine automatically onto the user number registered with the bank. The validity of the code gets checked by the system based on which the access to the account details is permitted to the user. This enables an anti-theft transaction and prevention of ATM frauds.
