Abstract

In order to synthesize cycloalkanones with high yields, a green and highly efficient method is described for the reaction of cycloalkanones with aromatic aldehydes using copper oxide nanoparticles (NPs) as a catalyst, which were prepared in a biological process using Rosa canina fruit's water extract as the catalyst. Catalytic efficiency was not significantly reduced when the Nano catalyst was reused and recovered numerous (5) times.
