Abstract:

In this paper, morphometric parameters after a single injection of hemolytic substances and the dynamics of changes in the activity of enteral carbohydrates involved in the final hydrolysis of carbohydrates in the small intestine were studied for 5 days. Under the influence of hemolytic substances, the body mass of growing rats decreased, while the mass of the liver and pancreas, on the contrary, increased. A decrease in small bowel mass relative to control sizes was observed under the influence of hemolytic toxicants. Thus, according to the results obtained the dynamics of the final hydrolysis of carbohydrates in the small intestine under the influence of hemolytic toxicants changes. A single administration of hemolytic substances leads to premature increase in the activity of α- glucosidases (maltase, tregalase, sucrose) in the small intestine and the maintenance of high levels of β - galactosidase (lactase) activity, slowing of natural repression of enzyme activity. The induction of enzyme activity observed after injection of toxicants was observed to be maintained overnight for 4–5 days, and the systems involved in carbohydrate assimilation were reactive to chemical stress, including hemolytic substances.
