Aquaculture

Aqua farming also referred as aquaculture is the production of saline water and freshwater species such as fin fishes, crustaceans and corals. Aquaculture is rapidly growing food industry all over the world and is becoming major means of food for aquatic animals in the human consumption. Depletion of fish stocks, total populations, increased food consumption, & foreign commerce have driven the enormous proliferation of aquaculture both in terms of overall production and value over the past decades. All over the world, aquaculture products are most broadly traded materials. Aquaculture is usually practiced in coastal areas with fertile land thereby changed the fertility of land, led to demolition of offshore wetlands and also polluted soil, water. This paper presents an outline of the relevancy, current stature, & classification of the same in universal and territorial scales & analyse key effects on the environment.
