Consumers’ Preference towards Different Branded Mobile Phone in Villupuram Town

Abstract:

This study is conducted on consumers’ preference for smartphone towards different branded mobile phone in Villupuram town. The data are collected from both primary and secondary sources. The primary data were collected from the respondents in the Villupuram town to know about the consumer preference towards different branded mobile phone through schedule. The researcher pre-tested the schedule and after carrying over of necessary changes, the modified schedule was administrated to 180 respondents during July 2019. Buying preference is the process by which individual decide whether, what, where, how and from whom to purchase goods and services. An understanding of buying preference is essential in marketing and planning for marketing strategies. Consumer preferences may influence the existing customers to generate preferences for new products, forcing the marketer position of the present brand of smartphone to another market segment. The study concluded that the consumers are satisfied with mobile phone.
