THE CRAFTSMANSHIP AS REFLECTED IN THE SELECET NOVELS OF PACTRICK WHITE

Abstract
Australian Literature has traditional methods of Aboriginal writings and contemporary literature. It has developed a lot after liberation itself from the slavery of European civilizations. Australian English has a different style with its native language and dialect contributing to the development of the English language.Craftsmanship is a broad term and it cannot be confined into the rigid demarcation of formal definition. It includes fairly a good variety of skills in art and craft such as skilful handling of the material in hand, technical acumen, aesthetic sense, imagination and vision.The figurative and connotative dimensions of White’s vision can be noticed in his use of language, epic-narrative style, and symbolism. This episode would illustrate and highlight the significance of his style to the understanding of the modernist sacred hat derives its matrices from the complexities of modern societies and that foregrounds transformative transcendence as a great value.
